  I dont know whom you are but you realizing that there is more here than just the music makers themselves. The song "Hurt" alone has inspired a whole lifestyle change for me. It has brought out an inspiration in me. To hear the hurt in the voice of Johnny Cash and to know the pain of Trent Reznor is something impossible to explain alone. You really need a history to the two to know that some of the words have changed for the artest alone in the songs and that they only desribe their own pain. Kudos to you for feeling something on a more intelligent level.
