5 Must Haves To Keep In Your Purse For Your Toddler

user

So you've outgrown the need for the giant bulky diaper bag.  You no longer feel the need to pack 10,000 baby items just to make a run to the grocery store.  I always felt like we were going camping every time we left the house!

Even though your baby no longer needs all those items for every outing, there are a few things you'll want to keep handy before you jump in the car.

  1. A diaper: You no longer need to carry along the whole pack, but it's always wise to have one in case you need to make a quick change.
  2. A few wipes: Tuck a few baby wipes into a zip top bag.  It's not bulky like one of the hard case travel size wipe boxes, so you can stick it anywhere in your purse.
  3. Small bottle of hand sanitizer.  Cold/flu season and shopping carts, enough said.
  4. Zip top bag of low sugar cereal (Cheerios, Life, Kix)
  5. Board book with LOTS of flaps.  Lots of flaps means it will keep the little one entertained a little bit longer.

All of these items will fit easily into your everyday purse.  Since you're not carrying the supplies in bulk, be sure to replace them as you use them.  Downsizing from the baby diaper bag will make running errands easier.
