A Tiny Bit.

user

I decided I'm going to start posting bits of my current two stories, From the Eyes of the Beasts, and Animalia I, the first in a (hopefully) series.

From the Eyes of the Beasts is a story long the lines of Dragonsdale(If you've read it, your my new best friemnd, if you haven't, I command you to). In Dragonsdale, it follows the lives of the humans and their Dragons, but the Dragon's thoughts and feelings are represented by facial expressions and grunts. But in my story, all that changes. My story follows the life of a young Dragon, Breezebringer, and his two partners Pipefire(A Pheonix) and Moonprancer(A Unicorn):

So the Evayain Championships were coming up. Being one of the mnost grand and exciting competitions to be a part of, my partners and I really wanted to compete. The only thing? Well, we're wild animals.

Yes, we're animals. My name is Breezebringer, and I am a Dragon. One of the most noble and rare species, I am a Featherbearer. That being said, I am simply a light blue Dragon with a feathery crest on my head, and feathery white wings, like a bird.

Those partners I mentioned before? Well, they're my best friends. We've been friends ever since we met, a lonng time ago, watching one of the yearly competitions. We're supposedly disgraces to our wild bretheren, with the whole 'longing to be domesticated' thing, but that's why we three have to stick together right? Pheonixes of a feather flock together, or so I'm told.

My first partner is a Silvercoat Unicorn. She's a beautiful silvery-white, with pink hooves, horn, and mane. She oozes grace and power at the same time, and can beat even me at a legs-race. Her name is Moonprancer.

My second and last partner is Pipefire. He's a noble Pheonix. He's also one of the strangest of them that I've ever seen. His legs are completely featherless, kind of like those weird burrowing owls. But it makes Pipefire special, and easy to pick out in a flock. It also makes him twice as fast as the lot of them, but not as fast as Moonie and I.

So, tell me if you want me to continue. All critic's comments are welcomed. Oh, and for those of you that don't know what a burrowing owl looks like, here's one:
