Adjusting to Your Circumstances

user

We need to pull ourselves out of the mire of sin and deceit and start dealing honestly with each other.  That is what I have been trying to do this past year.  Because I had my record espunged, there was all kind of wild speculation about the evil crimes I had commited.  I am trying to be open and honest and get back on the right track. It hurts me that the religious community has rejected me.  All except Saint Matthew's Churches who have stood by me and been a tremendous support to me.  Even though I was raised Assemblies of God, I feel I can never go back there because they worry that I might sue them because of various things that have happened over the years.  When I do go to their churches, it is very plastic and phony.  I appreciate pastor Tommy Sparger who stuck his neck out to try to help me.  That ended up not going well either...through no fault of his.  I am thankful that a person can live a Christian life without the local church although that is not the preferred way.  Shut-ins won't lose their salvation just because they do not attend church.  All a person needs in a pinch, is a Bible or a TV or CD player and you are good to go.
