All This Debating About Porn

I think that the topic of porn is kind of like the topic of abortion, it will never be a topic that gets resolved. From a guy's point of view, I think that porn is a necessary evil for three reasons. 1. Most women will not have sex with us as much as we want (because it's pretty much a constant desire). 2. Guys have sick minds, and it's a way to fantasize about things that most women won't do. 3. I really do believe that it keeps us guys from wanting to cheat. Having said these things I understand that some women will always be uncomfortable with porn. Some women find it threatening, immorale, or they just hate the idea of us being turned on by someone other than themselves. I have heard some other men complain that their wives/girlfriends only have sex with them once a month or less and that is not fare to us. Our sex drives are insatiable, and it's not our fault. I would love to just go on living my life without thinking about sex all the time but it's not something that we can control and it has nothing to do with men being shallow or unevolved. Anyways, back to the porn topic, I do understand that porn can be an addiction for some people. Anything that releases dopamine in the brain can be addictive. I myself probably view porn 1 or 2 nights a week, and it has never caused a rift in my relationship. If I just so happen to see something in porn that I would like to try in real life then I will ask my fianc'ee first. If she wants to do it then great, and if not I can at least go back to porn to fantasize about it instead of feeling unfulfilled. Just as long as the people that are watching porn realize that it is just a movie and not reality, I think it is ok.
