Anderson Cooper: Professional hater

You may recall the time CNN anchor Anderson Cooper took over “Live with Regis & Kelly” and trashed reality TV. His diatribe about “Living Lohan” actually elicited a public response from Lindsay’s mom, Dina!

This week Cooper made a target of magician David Blaine, saying he doesn’t like him, he’s “sick of him,” and that he doesn’t want to see his magic tricks, which aren’t even tricks.  Ouch! What’s the matter, Anderson? Did you have a bad experience at a childhood birthday party?

Here’s the clip. Do you think Anderson Cooper is too opinionated on TV or do you think he’s just saying what everyone else wants to say? [Videogum]

I love Anderson Cooper. Great journalist and easy on the eyes. He is in a position to make a statement and be heard. we all wish we had that capability. To be heard.

I can't say I'm a fan or not, but on Regis and Kelly, I was dying laughing about his comments re: Living Lohan. He can have an opinion ya know... I'm sure most of us would agree with him also...

IT'S HIS OPINION, HE WAS ONLY SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF. I CAN SAY TOO THAT I HATE BOTH THE LOHANS AND DAVID BLAINE. ROCK ON COOPER!

I like him, but then again--I usually agree with him. lol. I do not think he is "too opinionated" for television. Have you seen idiot Elisabeth Hassledork rant about her ultra-conservative opinions? I think varying opinions are great to hear about, even when we don't agree with them. Bill O'Reilly is a better example of "too opinionated for t.v." because he puts his opinions out there as FACTS, and he fools a lot of stupid people.

And to answer your question, "yes," I do think Anderson Cooper usually just says what many of us want to say. Come on, the Lohan parents are attention-seeking idiots. Who could disagree with that? And David Blaine is stupid, too. His last trick was a big rip off.

One thing about Cooper, if you ask him something he will give an answer, and very directly. I like him. He's smart and eye candy at the same time. Nice combo.

I think Anderson isn't saying what we all wish to say....I think Anderson says what we all say all the time but don't have a talk show to say it on.

Oh one more thing...here's a little info about our boy Anderson....he's Heir to the Vanderbilt Estates. His mother was the Famous Gloria Vanderbilt who parents and grand parents were business tycoons and owned many homes including the famous Vanderbilt Mansion in Newport, RI.

I'll never forget him waist deep in water in Texas after Hurricane Ike. He did his whole show in some kind of a rubber pant. It reminded me of a big diaper.
