Hello All.
A few months ago, I made a second Yahoo! account so that I could
communicate with people I have met on Shine. Since that time, I
have comtemplated switching over to using this account as my
main Shine account. I have finally decided to do that. I
just want everyone to know that I am the original Angela and not an
imposter or fake posting under my name.
I have decided to start posting under my second account because I
have seen too many other user's accounts deleted for arbitrary
reasons. I have had my original email that I began posting on
Shine with for many years, and I have hundreds of
important contacts and emails saved to that account. I cannot
afford to have that email account closed.
At this time, my original blog remains open. You can find my old

If you didn't do anything wrong then you wouldn't have to worry about your account being deleted. Let's have a peaceful debate in the future. I'm all for it!

Thanks Super A. I doubt it will "prevent problems". It will just save my other account from being deleted because someone on Shine has a problem with something I've written. There's no need for former professors and professional contacts to not be able to contact me or me them for some random thing I wrote on Shine and probably don't even remember.

"Wrong" is an abstract concept. When Yahoo! deletes a post, they don't explain why they deleted a post. When they warn a poster, they don't explain why they warned them. When they delete an account, they don't explain why they deleted an account.
I believe that racism, sexism, homophobia, and all forms of discrimination are wrong. Yet when I address other users who make such statements as such, my comments are deleted while their comments are permitted to remain, even though those comments are against the TOS.
I'm not going to change who I am, and I not going to accept or excuse the intolerance of others.

I'm not trying to stir things up at all. I'm just protecting myself. And by that, I mean my real life self. I honestly can't afford to lose my other email account. I guess I should have used some forethought and just made a fake blogging account to begin with, but having a multiple accounts is really a pain in the ass.
