I want to hate Angelina Jolie. I really, really do.
There was no one who was a bigger fan of Bren or Jad or Braniston or whatever the heck Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were called when they were together. I can still envision their wedding pictures and remember how incredibly happy they looked that day. That day...heck, every time they were together. She made that brooding guy seem more lighthearted and he just made her seem happy.
Then Mr. and Mrs. Smith rolled along and Brad met Angelina and Brangelina was born. I don't spend an inordinate amount of time following celebrity lives, but this debacle made me furious. Homewrecker. Slut. I stopped going to see her movies and refused to read any article about her and Brad and their newfound happiness.
However, in the event of a nuclear holocaust, the only two things to survive will be cockroaches and a worldwide fascination regarding Angelina and Brad. They are everywhere. So, despite my best efforts, I wound up hearing news about the couple. He adopted her adopted son when they got together. Then, they adopted another child together. They send their kids to good schools. They play with them. They take care of them. They don't go out and party like crazy. They go to work and come home to the family. Who can take issue with that? Then, they had their own child, Shiloh. Once again, they seemed to be putting their focus on their family and every time a photo was taken of the couple, at least one of the children was in tow.
Hurricane Katrina hits and the United States is shocked. Celebrities gave good face time to the cause, but few actually got off their butts and did something about it. Enter Brad and Angelina. They donate money, they donate time, they start some sort of new foundation, they are (what seems like) single-handedly helping New Orleans recover from the hurricane.
Now, she's pregnant again. With twins! Seriously, could these two be any more fortunate??? They are, easily, two of the most beautiful people in the world. They are successful movie stars. They have a beautiful, ever-expanding family that they seriously love and care for. They bring the causes of the little people to the attention of the world and don't just pay lip-service, but pay time and money and energy to these causes as well.
Why could he just have left Jennifer Aniston for Amy Winehouse? It would have made my life so much easier.

Report AbuseI vote Saint. She didn't "wreck" a happy home - it had to have already been broken for Brad to leave as quickly as he did. It was clear he wanted kids, Jennifer didn't. Both has moved on and I really admire the way Brad and Angie are conducting their lives. They have done so much good in the world! I don't see Jennifer doing the same. Frankly I can't see much to admire about Jennifer other than her hair and her tan which she seems to work on constantly. I'd be much more of a fan of hers if she were to choose a cause and devote time and money to it as Brad and Angie have, or to adopt a child or two, again like Brad and Angie. I guess I just want all of them to be happy and for people to lay off Angie. She is a lovely woman who appears to have made Brad a better, and happier, man.

Jen is soo much more beautiful! ANd I think ANgelina is just nuts or something. I think more of me hates her becuase I am sooo jelous of the beautiful family her and Brad haul together! IDK..
I just dont understand how Brad could change his mind soooo quickly. Marrying Jen to having what...7 kids? GEEZ!

Report AbuseThere was too much blond for Brad and Jen to make it. They were too perfect, too cute. I'm not going to lie, I was in complete denial too but Angelina had already cleaned up her act up and was looking super hot on Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I tried to hate on her too but it was futile.

Report AbuseSaint...That's pushing it. Many celebrities and those more fortunate than the rest of us - have given to many causes. They however, do it gracefully and discreet. Now, when you need to focus on your image (and lord knows) these two do, then you publicly FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE, share your time and wealth. It's called - look at us world! We're really good and caring people! And maybe if we keep adopting and giving our time and letting the camera's follow us - to see us giving back - maybe, just maybe...They'll forget we ruined JEN.
And all you poor souls - who eat this crap up are the ones to drool over these two and their brood of kids. The kids having nothing to do with this, sure paint a sweet picture though. Smart move.

Report AbuseBtw... Jen is not ruined. Emotionally, though I can't seem to think of how I'd handle all this. And women seriously, those who feel that Angelina did nothing wrong here but "give Brad" what he wanted... that's absurd.
That would mean every married couple in the world who has a difference of opinion (on having kids etc.) means someone else could come and snatch them and that justifies there breaking up a marriage??? That's total bull! If it were you - male or woman - you'd blame yourself??
So, Jennie it was all Jens fault because she chose not have kids? That's bull - cause all her husband had to do was file for divorce instead of jumping into someone else's bed. And as far as Jen giving or devoting herself to any significant cause - I'm sure she has. Again, she doesn't need the camera's following her nor need to make it public to satisfy moors like yourself. As far as kids why? If she didn't want any so what? And why would she have to adopt any? To satisfy you or others that eat this stuff up. Nonsense.

Report AbuseHomewrecker. She is pretty, though I find her lips rather freakish. I always thought Brad Pitt looks like a fry cook. I don't see the fascination. I like a guy with some meat on his bones. She only seems to appear in movies in which she doesn't have to make much of an effort to actually act, except for a few. I refused to see Mr & Mrs Smith for the longest time, then my bf borrowed the dvd from someone and we watched it. I did like the movie. I like when they destroyed their house fighting with each other, then had orange juice in a broken glass, and my boyfriend was like, "Aw! Let's do that!" I would say I feel sorry for Jennifer Aniston, but she is so filthy rich that it's hard to do so. Good that Brad and Ange adopted those 693 kids, and Shiloh is beautiful, but I'm sooooo siiiiiick of hearing about them. Ange reminds me of an animal that is used for breeding and stays pregnant all the time.

Why hate on anyone, we were not there, we did not hear the convesations. Who cares what they do in their private time!
I don't think Angelia is a slut or Jen is an figid lady because I DO NOT KNOW THEM...
