I could be having a bad day, but…The older I get the more that I
notice that adults are not always reliable. They say they’ll do
something, say something, attend something but simply don’t
follow-through.
My Mom once said that if you have high expectations, you will be
constantly disappointed. But expecting adults to commit to
something then follow through, to me is not high- it’s a normal or
average expectation.
I observe this “lack of reliability” in both my personal life and
my work life.
