This is the reason I love New England. I am an Autumn lover and find that I really love the cuisine of the cooler months.......the comfort foods.
This is a dish that I first learned to make as an apprentice and to this day BEEF BOURGUIGNON is still one of my favorites to cook. I am making this for dinner tonight ....the first full day of AUTUMN
This is a Pumpkin Bisque that I love making. I get the pumpkins from my friends farm and everyone really enjoys every drop of it. My recipe:

HOW ABOUT SHEPARD'S PIE? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE?
I know that meatloaf is a cool weather favorite and also very regional. What is your favorite??
Fetticcine Alfredo.................................Ahhhhh!!!
When I move to Connecticut, as a business move, I was taken out to dinner to finalize a deal. I was taken to a restaurant called (at the time) Il Capriccio and later, 20 years later changed to Capriccios . I could not even read the menu so I ordered something I could pronounce. Fettuccine Alfredo. I knew fettuccine was a noodle and I had no idea who Alfredo was. To this day this is one of the most incredible dishes ever in my life. Just don't mess with it. I think 5 ingredients will do it.
Besides the breads that Bob The Builder peddles at the Farmer's Market in Michigan, my all time favorite bread is one made at The Chart House Restaurant here in New England. It is delicious made any way you can imagine. It really compliments soups and hearty stews. My family loves it made into French Toast with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar. Recipe:

Roast Pork in the Fall...........................................Comfort!!!!!

This is my Autumn Sunset Cocktail and has become a regular in October during the pumpkin harvest where I live. It may sound a bit odd but it is delicious:
