Battle ground state

 Missouri is a battle ground state.  We're still a toss up on most electoral college maps, which means both sides are giving us some love.  We had Obama under the Arch and in KC on Saturday, Mc Cain in St. Charles (near St. Louis) this coming Monday morning and Bill Clinton at a pro Obama rally in Kirkwood (near St. Louis) Monday night.  Katie Couric is doing her broadcast from St. Louis Monday, as well.  Traffic should be fun! 

But there are other battles Missourians care about as well.  Our beloved Mizzou Tigers lost to the evil Texas Longhorns Saturday, effectively destroying Chase Daniel's bid for a Heismann.  Meanwhile, our beleaguered Rams won their second straight game, against the Dallas Cowboys.  So, I guess for Texans, Missouri is still a toss up state!

Oh, well!  Enough rambling!  Got to get back to grading papers.  Hope you all have a great week.

    At least the Rams won so it was just as well that you went to the game! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. Hope you have a more relaxed week than you did last week. At least this week, you feel better. Just a short time to the election and then all of the commotion will be over. I have to admit, I can't wait for all of the hyperactivity to calm down.     nah by the time i got down there it was over i had to go take the car back home for fear of it being towed and by the time i caught the metrolonk it was over with.
