Bollywood

So, how many of you have heard of Bollywood?  For those of you who haven't, it's the Indian version of Hollywood.  Since most Hindi movies are made in Bombay, or Mumbai as it is called now, it is known as Bollywood;  get it?

There's a new movie being made called "Kambaqt Ishq."  It stars a few of the Bollywood's well known actos and actresses;  mainly an actor named Akshay Kumar and actress named Kareena Kapoor.  Sylvester Stallone has a cameo appearance in it.  Denise Richards is rumored to be in it too. 

Anyway, Snoop Dogg has a recorded the title song and has shot a music video, along with Akshay in Chicago, for the movie.  Isn't that interesting?  There was a yahoo article about Snoop Dogg's entrance into the Bollywood world.

The truth is, there are a lot of Hollywood stars who are very aware of Bollywood and its stars. I think some of you are aware of Bollywood and especially Aishwarya Rai.  She was Miss World and voted as the most beautiful woman in the world.  Ash is in the new Pink Panther.  Will Smith is reportedly interested in working with Ash but she has not been able to because of her busy schedule.  (She acts in Bollywood and Hollywood films, is brand spokesperson for Loreal, brand spokesperson for several companies in India and is currently traveling with her family, including in-laws, hubby and several Bollywood stars doing a concert show in Canada, U.S. and several other countries.)

There are several Bollywood stars who have Hollywood agents and are trying to break out into the Hollywood scene.  The biggest one is Hrithik Roshan.  He's a Bollywood hero and heartthrob.  (He's one of my favorites!  Ash's hubby, Abhishek Bachchan,  is also another favorite of mine.)  Hrithik is reported to have an agent through Brad Pitt's talent agency.  


So, we'll wait and see who enters Hollywood from Bollywood and vice versa!
