Calling all Duran Duran Fans!!! What Happenend to Andy?

So it's a Sunday night, my husband is on second shift, me and the dog are watching old Duran Duran videos on my iPod - yes, I know, pathetic but it's Planet Earth - and as far as I'm concerned, D2 started the whole EMO look (WATCH THE VIDEO - it's available for download on iTunes - YAY!)_...these youngsters from today ripped off their look...

Is it just me, or do the 2 dudes dancing in the middle of video (Planet Earth) look like the Wicked-Witch of the East's foot solders from the Wizard of Oz...I swear!

I had a huge sticker on my Geimenhardt flute case back in 6th grade at Mesita Elementary... and a million Duran Duran posters on my walls, Bop magazines with John and Simon...my friend Carrie recently dug out old D2 photos from her basement (scream!). I even ordered crap from the fan club in England...took me like 4 months to get the lyric book.

Should I mention that I've just downed a bottle of Napa Pinot Noir...?

Yes Simon, John, Nickers and Roger: this is what your 36-year old fans do now.

We're married, some of us have kids, some of have dogs, (me)...we're divorced, we're at different places in out lives now than  back in 1986, but one thing has remained constant  - we still love you.

I went to the D2 concert in Las Cruces NM like 10 years ago, and most recently Cleveland OH in, I think, '04??? who knows, me and Jess were drunk and happy and couldn't believe how good they look..
and Simon was awesome (my hubby was SOOOO happy he didn't have to come to that concert with me...). The only other singers who sounded THAT good were in concert were Sammy Hagar - Van Halen -  and James Hetfield from Metallica.

Does anybody know what exactly happened to Andy? My friend Carrie and I were wondering...and extremely disappointed that they are not coming to Cleveland, Ohio in 2008....

FYI, Nick Rhodes' father passed away this past week, and they had to cancel the concert in Nice, France.

Poor guy, my heart goes out to him. I can't imagine  losing my Dad....
