Report AbuseThat is interesting, where did you hear that? I have a child with mild Autism and I have anxiety and used to have depression. My mother is psychotic (I am not kidding), and my grandmother had schizophrenia. My kids certainly didn't win the genetic lottery.

Report AbuseI think the study was that kids with autism are MORE LIKELY to have parents with mental illness than the general population. It's not a 100% thing.

It was a joke people.
My son has autism ... I am not a RETARD ... nor do own cats ... I was making a joke to hide the pain of my days with my little boy that suffers from this awful thing called autism.
