David Cross and the Traveling Pants

You may have read about Cher’s much younger man—biker Tim Medvetz is 38 to her 62. But she’s not the only celeb enjoying some fresh meat. Arrested Development comedian David Cross is currently courting 25-year-old Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress Amber Tamblyn. She’s nearly half his age! Ah well, love is blind, right?

Do you think these couples are mismatched, or do you think age is nothing but a number? [Jezebel

I see two people waking a dog and talking. I dated a girl 19 years younger than me. It didn't bother her. I liked her. Her parents were 20 years apart age-wise so it wasn't some scandal. You do have things that don't matchup, like experience and culture, but some ppl are young souls and old souls--when compatible people meetup it's nice. It can be unconventional and work. If it doesn't its not a "failure" its just selection process.

Does it really matter? Are they happy? Then who are we to judge them. I personally prefer older men for me but maybe by like 5 years. I am young and still like my men to be young.

I've always dated men who were on the same intelligence and maturity level as me and that usually resulted in men older than me. Not always decades older, but I don't really think age matters that much. As long as you are on the same page in life. I mean, if you are hot, young, party a lot, and want to have kids some day I wouldn't suggest a relationship with a 45 year old man who's been there, done that. For me, I just like being with people I can be myself with and have fun. At the end of the day, if that person can't make me laugh, it's over. I'd take the Jimmy Fallons of the world over the Brad Pitts any day.

I think that if both have the same feelings for each other and respect each other then yeah! age is just a number and sometimes love is blind, even with glasses on...

Hm...being superficial looking at the photo, they seem like any other couple. Doesn't seem like far-fetched situation for them to date.

I didn't think David Cross was over 50 so how can he be "twice her age?"

Anyway, they look like a cute couple. Women like funny guys so I can see why she's attracted to him.

who really cares. As long as they like each other and are good to each other, who are they hurting? No one.

Yeah well I feel there is nothing wron with it. I mean im 25 and my boyfriend the love of my life is 38. And he still looks like a fresh 25 that how I was fooled. Once u get past a certain age. It's cool and for females dating the 20 somethings is just to hard. What does it matter as long as you two are happy.

I'm a year and a half older than my husband but to me age doesn't matter. If there is chemistry then so be it. However, I have been the victim in sexual harassment from a man who is old enough to be my father and it's gross! I personally do not find men who are 50 and over very attractive but each to their own.
