Well it seems that Ben is not as mean, nasty, or evil as some of us thought. He did not kill Alex as Charles told him to do. He did not kill Penny as He told Charles he was going to do.
He has moments that he seems to be a real human, kind hearted and loving. Then he shows that he can be pure evil.
The fact that he was surprised to see John alive is hilarious to me. He is scared of him now. He is not in control anymore. He does not know what is going to happen next. He is no longer the man behind the curtain. I am a control freak and I know how he must feel to not be in charge of what happens next.
I am glad to see he did not kill Penny. He saw the baby and changed his mind.
We were wrong on the previous blog. Charles does age on the island.
Questions that I have.....
Once you leave you can not come back...unless you are on the sub. How is the sub able to find its way there and back?
Why did Charles leave the island multiple times to have a relationship with Penny's mother?
Why does he say Ben tricked him off if in fact he violated the rules by leaving and having an off island relationship?
More questions to come. This link is to a site that has a quiz to see how well you know lost. There is a test specifically for Juliet's and Ben's past. I failed miserably. How well did you do?

Report Abuse29, I am just popping in to say hi. I am sorry that you felt ignored on the other blog. There are some misguided loyalties around here. And out of respect for other peoples blogs I am not going to say much about it. Never feel bad because you stand up to for the truth. No matter if it is accepted or not, you know in your heart, you did the right thing.

Report AbuseWow, 29, this is a really great blog. I didn't get to watch Lost on Wed., so I just finally watched it today. Then, I spent most of the day finally finishing my own nw blog, which was actually a lot of work, and now, I guess my thinking cap is out of juice.
I'm going to have to think about what you said about Ben not being totally evil. I guess I was kind of surprised when he was sent to kill Danielle and didn't and when he was also sent to kill Alex but saved her.
My husband has said there's a lot of parallel's between Lost and the X-Men, and I know that (what's his face--the main producer guy) is a huge comic book fan. I wish I would have read more X-Men, personally, because they were a big Buffy influence too, and Joss Whedon even did a series. But anyway, there's a comic book saying, that "Ultimate power ultimately corrupts." So, maybe being the leader of The Others makes people go bad?
Anyways, that's all I have for now. Hope to talk to you soon.

Report AbuseAlso, Rose, I love what you wrote about "misguided loyalties." I think that describes it perfectly.

Report AbuseHI, 29, I love LOST! I read your lost post every week and someone usually points out something I missed. Keep on writing about Lost and posting the pics!
Thanks for visiting my post. I love Robert Irvine and for the longest time I didn't know what happened to him. Even though he padded his resume I'm glad they rehired him. He's proven his talent on his show. Have a wonderful and joyous Easter. Love, Connie
