  Heather: I DO think folks are waking up -- the independents whose votes really were the tipping votes that put him in office are dropping their support in droves ( if the polls are meaningful). But those are the same polls that showed the independents were going to put him over. If Obama doesn't move to the center (Clinton did that) his presidency will only survive for one term.

  However my hubby says all Obama wants/needs is one term.

  The good news is that the majority of sixty is temporarily no more. Obama has also lost his chief negotiator ( Kennedy) in the Senate so at some point on Health Care they have to start real negotiating or go to the reconciliation (which Republicans used at times though not on anything as important as Health Care) . We'll see what happens.
