I have been writing for a while and people tell me this one is good. Tell me what you think.

Could Have Been
You told me not to listen to them: to push them out of my mind and forget their words. I did. Then they came and told me you cheated on me. They told me to get you back. They told me I deserved better. They told me you would hurt me. They told me you used me. They told me to leave you! Do you know how much I had to listen to them? Do you know how much I had to go through? My heart had to go through so much pain. I am confused and don’t know who to listen to. So I decided to listen to them. I regret that. When I walk by you I still fell your touch. When I see you my heart still skips a beat. When I hear your voice I remember when you used to talk to me and me alone. When I listen to the radio I here our song and think of how we used to be. For a while I just sat their thinking and getting more confused. I think about how it could have been if I had stayed with you. I cry at night about my choice. Without you my heart can only hurt. I have seen you with other girls and I still wonder how it could have been if I had stayed with you. But I had to listen to their lies and I believed them! I could have been happy with you but I had to listen. Why did I have to listen? Why? So now I wonder how it could have been.
