Dominos and TiVo team up to ruin America

I live in New York City, home of the best pizza slice, but every so often I see a Domino’s commercial and that melty cheese and glass of coke just looks sooo good I’m practically salivating. The worst part? The only thing to eat in my apartment is some leftover Chinese food and a box of cereal with probably expired milk. <br><br>Well, Domino&#39;s and TiVo have a solution. They are teaming up so ultra lazy couch potatoes like me can order pizza through Tivo! While you&#39;re fast forwarding through that Domino&#39;s commercial, grumbling about how hungry you are, an ad will pop up asking you if you&#39;d like to order a pizza. You will of course select “yes,” which will direct you to a menu. <br><br>If I can see my own scenario playing out with two medium pies on the coffee table, my guess is this partnership will work on loads of lazy Americans. The only problem (besides, um, potential obesity) I forsee for those too slothful to pick up a phone to order a pizza: who’s gonna let in the delivery guy. <br><br>Do you think this TiVo and Domino’s collaboration is a new low?     Please I would kill for some NY pizza right now! And its cold outside so tivo sounds real good too.

    the craziness of this scheme aside, you're a very funny writer!

    but, as for me, even if I'm tempted, I wouldn't order Dominoes. I can never forget that their cheese is stringy and I've been boycotting them for the last 3 years for repeatedly bad (and I mean bad) service. but, I might let my lazy butt reach for the phone and order a pie from a just a greasey but much more tastey local pizzeria. :)

    I agree with everyone. people should stop being couch potatoes and get outside, and eat healthier! The whole TiVo idea is stupid!!

    OOOhhh.... This is very cool. I'm not on my high horse right now... I Looovvveee this idea. I have fatty moments (every second of my life) and this would be cool... Yea for technology.
