  It's a bad idea to go with your friends man. Especially your best friend. If the person really is your best friend you should be able to tell her what her man is doing. If she blows up at you and treats it like it's your fault you will be in for heartbreak. But it may make you stronger and enlighten you and what type of person your friend is. Especially when you are telling her the truth. If he does break up with her and pursues you you should not have a problem distancing yourself since you stated that you don't like him

  Talk with your friend and your best friend about it. If you've made it clear that you don't want a relationship, whatever the guy does is not your problem and not your fault. You have no reason to feel guilty if you've been honest.

  I don't see what your issue is here. You know you don't want this guy... so DONT DATE HIM. Not to mention it is wrong to do so. If I were you I would tell my friend what he said. Now, depending on your credibility and how mature your friend is she will believe you, will dump him and all will be well.... OR you could say nothing. I'm a tell-it-like-it is person. If possible I would get proof of what he was planning to do... and tell the friend. THIS GUY'S a JERK.
