There has been little mention about
Persia in news recently. As the media sleeps, it tests another advanced warhead design. It got caught (again) attempting to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah. Syria is presently leaning toward giving the terror group operational control of Scud missiles within its borders.

While America dithers, then wonders about its next course of (in)action in Afghanistan, as its imposturous leader emulates a Hamlet, Iran is in full swing with its plans to destroy Israel. If they succeed, Europe and America will be threatened.

Last week, Israeli naval commandos seized what have been the largest arms cache ever intercepted in the region. Near Cyprus, a commercial ship with an Antiguan flag that was carrying weapons destined for Syria was caught. The documents on board showed they originated in Persia. According to IDF sources, there was enough ammunition for a full month of fighting on scale of war Hezbollah staged against Israel in 2006.

Persia is supposedly forbidden from exporting arms. There are a couple UN resolutions that called for Hezbollah to disband and be disarmed. Instead, the terror group had effectively neutered the Lebanese democracy.

Specifically, these UN resolutions also forbid ammunition depots south of the Litani River as part of deal that halted the 2006 war. This past July, a cache of weapons was discovered in area just north of Israel’s border. UN Res. 1701, which explicitly stated the area must be “free of any armed personnel, assets and weapons,” had been breached.

It’s clear Hezbollah and Iran had not obeyed a single resolution or diplomatic pledge. The stage is being set for Iran’s second front of war with the Jewish state. The south Syrian corridor that runs from the Persian border, west to Damascus on toward Beirut, is active again as a transit point for arming Hezbollah.

Arabic media have been reporting that Syria, at the request of Persia, to turn over control of over 300 long range ballistic missiles to Hezbollah. The Syrian military is assisting in the training of Hezbollah personnel in operating of these missiles.

Now Iran has the sophisticated technology to allow for the production of smaller and simpler warheads than older models. It reduces the size of the warhead, and makes it easier to put a such weapon on a missile destined to meet Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s pledge to wipe Israel off the map while ushering in the age of the 12 th Imam. This is called a two point implosion device. It’s being further tested by the Iranians.

While the Americans further dither, the estimates of Iranian nuclear capabilities and motives are incorrect again. With that being said, it must be high time for IAF pilots repeat history by taking matters in their own hands as they did in 1980, and 2007.
