Report AbuseI always believed he had the disease, I just thought he'd bleached his skin to even out his skin tone because of the vitiligo. My problem wasn't the skin bleaching, but all of the other ridiculous plastic surgery that he appeared to have done because he was unhappy with his black features.

Report AbuseYou must not know how the media works. Vitilgo causes uneven patches of discolored skin around the neck or face. Michael's ENTIRE BODY got lighter GRADUALLY and all perfectly EVEN. Not only that, he has done muiltpile surgeries to his chin, his cheeks, his lips, his nose, jis eyes and forehead, all of which were FOCUSED DIRECTLY and extremely on the impossible task of giving him stereotypical caucasian features. There is a disease such as vitiligo and Michael would of course claim that's what it was and try to get doctor reports to state so, but most people know better.

Report AbuseBy the way, the surgeries began before his skin turned white enough to even be considered a "yellow-bone" african american

Report Abusefirs when I read about vitiligo of Michael Jackson at http://www.vitiligoguide.com/famous-people/michael-jackson/ I did not consider it true, becuse there was not any sing of depigmentation on his body. But after veiwing some old mj vidios, in which its vitiligo marks can be clearly obesrved.
Any critism on him due to change of color or vitiligo is not fair activity.

Report AbusePeople lets set the record straight about Vitiligo. My dear friend has has this for years and more than her face and neck are covered. Everything is white except her waist and abdomen. SHe tried to cover it up with dark make up when she first noticed it. Now now she covers it up with white make-up because it is so much. Stop finding fault with someone else and look within your self. Stop hate-n.

Report AbuseOkay, I believe you, but that's that and this is now, the king of Pop is dead , You can do what ever you want to yourself (physically),cut it,remix it,pop it,slice it! just to do "make overs" to look good !, You have all this money, so whats stopping you from doing it, ENJOY YOUR MONEY!, take advantage of what's new & expensive , buy a ticket to space if you have to. I think MJ did enjoyed it and is readily prepared to acknowledge what ever life's pathway has to offer beyond the next level but was cut short due to the early calling of the almighty or if there is the so called ALMIGHTY!
He's just like every normal human being ,We have up's and down's, NO BODY'S PERFECT, we become sick then we become strong, for some, they tried but expire's on the process as in the case of madam SF(Sarah Faucet)., Yeah! , why not talk about SF,Shes got some good contributions too and is very well known globally as a beutifull tallented actress, watch her upcoming documentations.
I hope both of them are peacefully & comfortably settled to where ever they are right now!
Another part of entertainment history has passed but are re-installed with upcoming promising young and vigorous talents to entertain us. Life must go on, we only hope for the best of what future has to offer on the following days to come.
ADIOS to them.

Report AbuseThank you for your post. I have always been a huge fan of Michael's. I never cared for the amount of surgeries he had, or understood how he could obviously dislike his appearance so much that he felt the need. I do, however understand why he could relate to children so well. Not for the reason you're probably thinking but because children are less judgemental. Children can push fault or imperfection away moreso than adults and have the ability to see inside. I've always thought him to be extremely generous, caring, giving, and a person of huge heart. Listen to his music. It's easy to say he has had too many surgeries, he "looks like a freak", the accusations must all be true because he's different.Don't anyone do the research this young lady did-let's just accuse him of bleaching his skin because he's "wierd",. How about there are some people out there trying to make a big buck at the expense of someone's reputation. Shame on us all for shunning him and waiting for him to die to give him due respect as a human being and to thank him for all of his humanitarian efforts. God Bless him and Rest in Peace Michael Jackson. You will be missed in my household!
