Finding the perfect work - life balance is not easy. Especially when you have a husband, 2.5 kids, a dog, a cat, and a very mean hamster named Killer. I know because I'm there with you! For my family, it was a very scary decision that we make out of necessity that changed our lives forever for the good. I am now a stay at home mom. It's still very difficult to get everything done; I don't know how I did it at all before when I worked 40+ hrs a week. I work part time out of the spare room, make almost as much as I did before once you consider daycare, commute, clothes, etc... My stress level is way down, my kids love being home and I am not missing any of the milestone moments.
