Today in my seminary class we learned of
someone wandering away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ either
accidentally, intentionally, or spiritually. We read parables from
the New Testament, the woman losing her coins, the shephard losing
one of his sheep, and the younger son wandering away purposely to
spend all his riches. The moral of the parables is that through
repentance and support from others around you, you can find your
way back to the Gospel of Christ. We also
need to learn as individuals that the words of Christ come before
our own, he makes a plan for us, we do not come up with our own
plans. There's a saying, "When God hears of our plans he
laughs".
