Garlic – the strongest natural antibiotic, also popularly known as the ‘Russian penicillin’. Onion is next. But not too recommended for people suffering with stomach ulcer/gastritis, as they could cause sensations of burns etc.
Try oven roast garlic bread, with a bit of extra crushed garlic on top.
Crushed Garlic Sauce:
Peel a few cloves, then crush them, add a pinch of salt according to your taste, dilute it with a few drops of cold tap water, add up a couple of olive oil (or sunflower/rapeseed/vegetal etc – any cooking oil) drops, maybe squeeze also few drops of fresh lemon juice, and, optional, add up a little bit of chopped fresh herb leaves (dill, parsley, thyme, Greek basil, mint, whatever you might fancy – or even a combination of these). Mix well.
This works with oven cooked, grilled or pan fried chicken, fish or any other meat, sausages (on Spanish Chipolatas & Polish Kabanos would taste best, but not necessary, it depends), or even with fries, oven spuds, or toast, oven roast bread (like some Italian style bruschettas) etc – according to one’s taste & culinary creativity.
To get rid of the garlic smell after, eat some orange & apple, or chew on a few parsley leaves, or try some strong mints, mouth spray etc.
Lemon & honey/honey comb.
Hot fruity tea with lemon slices.
Hot chicken or veg soup.
Fresh fruits or veg salads, or simply keep consuming raw fruits & veggies.
