Guilty Pleasure: "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila"

Never mind my collection of Faulkner novels -- don't let that fool you -- because all signs of intelligence go out the window every Tuesday at 10 when I sit down to watch "A Shot at Love 2 with Tila Tequila." Watch my IQ drop faster than Miley Cyrus' reputation.

From its debut last year, when Tila confessed "I am a bisexual," I was hooked on this trashy reality show. She chose all-American boy Bobby as her shot at love, but that lasted all of about... three days. Well, freakin' thank God. Their break-up only meant another season of stupid people vying for Tila's swings-both-ways heart.

So, why do I like this show? If I'm being completely honest, watching the show not only provides base entertainment value, but it makes me feel better about myself. Whenever I get a reminder of a stupid romantic decision I've made, instead of cringing and hitting my head against a stack of Encyclopedia Britannica, I just watch "A Shot At Love" and console myself knowing at least I didn't put my "member" in a box and present it to Tila on national television (yes, this really did happen!).

But even after all the trashiness and drama, Tila still maintains a certain sort of dignity. Last week when she kicked contestant Chris off the show, she explained his fatal mistake: "You don't just bend me over and try to...pump me." That's right: no one pumps Tila in the corner.

Damn, I love this show.

I think this girl is a skank. I am still not sure who the hell she is. And I watched one episode of this show and was completely sickened by the fact that these people are so desperate to get with someone that is as dirty as Tila.

I see why people like this show so much, there's a lot of dirty stuff going on... but all those bad things are not even making Tila happy! She has not found her perfect mate because she will need to clean up her act first! God's ways is the best way to find happiness! Love and respect yourself and then you will be able to love and respect others!

    Peace on earth.

    Haha.

I agree that it's horrible but you can't help watching it sometimes.

    Curiosity kills all.

Dude... guilty as charged I caught myself watching the first season and stupid me thought it was over. Once I saw another season was starting, I refuse to watch. Same goes with the Hills, Rock of Love, etc. I am so tired of rolling my eyes at the television.
