Homeschooling,

I am currently a homeschooled high schooler. I think that homeschooling is better then actual highschool only beacuse you dont have to deal with the drama and your not rushed on how fast to get the work done!! You can go at your own past. But the hard thing is. Your not active like you are in school....your not walking from class to class and your not having P.E. But i do work out so its not like its a problem to me. Then another big deal is being socialble. When you go to school your around a bunch of kids. But when your homeschooled your not. My mom put together this homeschooling group for teenagers ages from 13-17. (guys and girls) We meet every Thursday and we do something. Like the past cupple of weeks we went bowling, art projects, planting, haning out. Then today we went to a Park and just hung out there. Even as teenagers we still like that park! You woouldnt believe how many teenagers were at the park after (public) school! haha i guess everyone still has the kid in them..Most people think that homeschooled kids just sit at home and do nuthing but watch TV or just go on the computer and Myspace or Facebook. But thats not true. Us homeschoolers work just as hard as public schoolers. While we finish one lesson. That lesson would take public schoolers a week to do. Becasue they break it down in sections. To me we actually work harder. Yea we get to sleep in and start work. But now a days when you look at it. Teens who go to public school are going to bed 11 and 12 at night. And then they have to wake up at 6 A.M or earlier. And expeshally the kids that are is sports. They dont go to bed till late. And then they wake up early. And after school they got sport practice. And when they get home its already 6 or 7 pm. They gotta eat dinner and do there homework...Causing them to be up later....So for those of you who think homeschooling kids just sit and do nothing all day. You shouldnt judge before you say anything...Because most people who say things like "All you do is sit around and watch TV!" or "You dont actually do school work!" Thats not true, Some of us work harder then public schoolers. The reason- Becasue we dont have teachers to help us or explaine things to us. We got books, or online pages. And some parents dont know algebra. So how do we figure it out?!?! Some people get tutors. But what about the people who dont have the money for turtors..Id like to know your opinion on what you think about homeschooling!!!
