So today I'm doing my usual online house hunting while I'm at work, and I happen upon the most GORGEOUS three bedroom condo. It's not huge (about 1400 square ft), but it's got two bathrooms, a nice deck, great fireplace, large master bedroom...and the kitchen. The kitchen is the kitchen I've wanted. I could care less if this condo were on stilts in the swamp somewhere...as long as I can have that kitchen. It has that great breakfast bar/island in the middle, with a hi tech stove, ample counter space and cabinets. It's the kitchen in my dreams. I know, this sounds totally lame. I don't even cook  that much, but the kitchen does it for me. A house isn't a house without a kitchen you can pretend to make extravagant meals in. The place where you follow along with Emeril and Rachel Ray, and then throw your creation out because it looks nothing like the perfection on television.
The best part though, is this condo is under $200,000, in a GATED COMMUNITY. And no, not because it's in a dangerous area. It's in a suburb in CT. I have to have this place. Cross your fingers!!!!!
