"How do I write for Shine" is probably the most frequently asked question we see on our suggestion boards. The answer is anybody can write for Shine. Shine is a place for conversation and we want you to be a part of it.
If you're at all intimidated about writing a blog for the first time, remember that even experienced bloggers started where you are and probably felt the same way. Everyone on Shine is here to share, so consider blogging about a personal story, some useful tips that made your life easier, or ask for feedback from the Shine community on something that's been on your mind.
Whatever the case, we've made it easy to blog. Just click on the Blog link under your name and then click the "Write a New Post" link. You'll see that our post creation page is super user-friendly and if you still need some blogging help, just click here.
We've also posted Community Guidelines to keep Shine a fun and safe place, so please make yourself acquainted with them too. :)

Report AbuseWow, you know how your 4 year old talks just to hear her own voice? That's sorta like some of the comments I see around. Content, people. Content.
Brenda - I am blogging about my start-up, family and such, sprinkling with images and quite enjoying myself.
The question becomes how do I put my writing out there to get it considered up for the main pages?
I am not seeing how someone could scroll through a subject and stumble upon a blog - how does one increase her audience or potiential audience?

Report AbuseBrenda, after I read all of the above comments ,I felt I had to comment. I have really enjoyed all of the blogs and comments. I enjoy having a forum for some of my thoughts and others reaction to them. I feel I have formed several close friendships,even tho we have never met. As I mentioned,I am retired and was kind of bored until I found "Shine" I am not really computer savvy but you have made it so easy to scroll thru and to add blogs and/or comments! Congratulations and thanks to "Shine" from the old lady of the group whom you have welcomed. Thanks again!!
