We need to begin at home in America. We need to do things for us. No new troops overseas, bring our people home. Quit giving money to foreign countries. Charity begins at home. Once we have Americans with clean water, affordable healthcare ( not necessarily gov't run ), good paying jobs, etc... then and only then start helping the rest of the world. Does anyone believe that the rest of the world will ever help us? Get real.

Any person born in this country has the exact same opportunity to achieve and thereby afford anything they want or need. The poor here are wealthy in India. Wanna get America back on its feet again? NO MORE WELFARE! people get out of horrific circumstanmces every day in this country. What one person can do, so can another. It's personal choice. Wanna stay in a trash can...do nothing and stay there. Want out? get out. If this is not true, explain how Oprah Winfrey (poor, black and abused) got to where she is today. Explain how Zell Miller did it. Know how? They CHOSE not to stay where they were. They wored smart, not just hard...but smart. They stayed away from stupid choices and made decidions whioch would enrich and advance their lives. It's a shame people miss this point. Thanks to Obama, I am no longer giving to my usual charities. Nor am I the only one. If my tax dollars will be going to give free healthcare (only free to those who use it)to thoise who could woerk and get insurance if they chose to, then they don't need my donations this year at the food kitchens as usual. They elected this fake, they can now enjoy the fruits of his "Obama money."

Personally, I think the economy would benefit from less government interference and dare I say, no government interference at all? Meaning, shut down the fed, eradicate all government regulations (industries can adopt their own regulations if they so choose), stop welfare, repeal all taxes and move to a flat-tax system where everybody pays the same amount, and no more spending (except defense) until we pay off all our debt to other countries that are slowly buying our freedoms away. Government never made anything cheaper in the long run, so why do people still think it can?
