I have a crush on Jon Stewart

Okay, so I'm a political junkie. I watch presidential debates and get all heated and started yelling at the screen like it's the Superbowl. On election night I had a mini party at work with my coworker (I work graveyard) to celebrate Obama' victory. We had cupcakes, blue of course being a Democrat and all, nachos, and sparkling cider in champagne flutes. But one of my favorite political shows is the least serious one on cable, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

I'm a sucker for a smart, intelligent man who can also make me laugh. That's Jon Stewart. It also helps that he's wicked handsome, with his deep blue eyes and a smile that melts my heart and turns me into a pile of mush. He'll crack a joke that's both hilarious and enlightening and I'll start to blush.

I think my boyfriend is starting to catch on to me. I'm sure I look like a complete fool with my big doe eyed oggling and high pitched innappropiate giggles that go on for the entirety of the show. Too bad he's married and has kids. Lucky, lucky woman. For now I'm just gonna admire from afar and keep my little girl crush a "secret" by blogging about for the entire world to see. Maybe Mr. Stewart will see this post and realize his soul mate is waiting.... Just kidding of course, or am I?

Anyhoo, check out this photo of him in his younger years. Total hottie.

I'm gonna go wipe the drool off my chin now. Have a good morning everyone.

Wow, we may agree on content but certainly not crushes....

...I'm kinda stuck on Rachel Maddow, she's smart, provocative and has her plumbing going in the right direction. And if she wasn't gay I'd ask her to get comfy with me.....

....But untill then I'll keep watching the one's who call bull$it when they hear it; Jon Stewart, Rick Sanchez, Rachel Maddow, Chris Mathews, Campbell Brown and once in a while Wolfe Blitzer..

....And I may disagree with his politics but ya really gotta love Steven Colbert..

.....Anyway glad you like the pic of my puppy,...He's supposed to be three years old by now, but you'd never know it when he get's a chance to get happy at the doggie park...Canis.

    Hi Jennifer,

I know EXACTLY how you feel, my dear. He is quite the MAN isn't he.

Now, I am married and my husband has a similar sense of humor. We both enjoy The Daily Show and I don't feel quilty when my pupils widen when I look at Jon Stewart in front of my husband. My husband is secure in his manhood so I don't think it would bother him one bit. In fact he'd probably ask, "can I watch." He might be OLD but he's not DEAD.
