Hello to all my friends on Shine!
We have been super busy lately and the holidays are always the
start of making it even busier in our happy home, so sorry I
haven't been on much. Here, Halloween preparations even
are a weeks-long endeavor, but it always pays off and shows in the
results. We love the good old-fashioned activities like
decorating, Halloween music, carving pumpkins, and even bobbing for
apples, but with a modern twist here and there, too.
Robby had a few friends over for the Ghoulishly Fun Festivities and
we all had a blast dancing to Monster Mash and Thriller. As
soon as I figure out how to transfer my 8mm camcorder videos,
maybe I'll share them hamming it up to Kung Fu Fighting.
I'll have to hurry up and finish off the 35mm (OLD SCHOOL, I
know!) camera film roll and scan and post those, too.
I know like me, those of you with kids think nothing is better than
to see our precious ones enjoying themselves with a huge grin on
their faces, and I thought I would share with you SOME of the
mischief I got up to over the holiday...
Ever your "evil" friend,
Ericka
This is HALF the food that was made...

The table Display had Blood Drip Candles in a black double
candlestick holder with glass "eyeballs" in the candle
holder cups and Paper Tombstone Labels - in Honor of my son Robby,
one of them read, "In Memory of John Lennon" because
Robby is a HUGE Beatles fan!
This is Robby's Cannibal Pumpkin
Our Outside Display.
Flamingo Strikes Again - this time as a witch!
A "warning" to all unwary visitors!
My diabolical creation...Pacman's Revenge! That'll teach them to mess with a little guy!
We all knew I had bats in my belfry...but did we know I also had them hanging from my ceiling lamp?
Inside the house, ghosts, ghouls, skeletons, and spiders all kept everyone in good "spirits" among all the cobwebs.
A new spin on Havanese Property Laws - HALLOWEEN Property Laws.
(Robby and Jack horsing around...or is it DOGging around? WOLFing around? Midget Kitty looks on in amazement at "that stupid dog" and his boy's antics.)
Halloween Property Laws:
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks like it's mine, then it's mine.
8. If I saw it first, it's mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
and finally...
10. If it's broken, it's yours!
Happy Holidays to Everyone! I hope you all had a great time over Halloween weekend - stop by and tell me all the fun things you did! I will keep you updated on the coming Holidays and hope you do the same! Let me Know what you did for Halloween! I am "dying" to hear...hehe.
XOXOXO!
