  Debbie....what you have is so rare, but not impossible if two people are in it together. It's obvious Ron's heart is as big as yours and he always has talked so sweetly of you, long before I "met" you here. I really have come to love both of you as a couple and I am glad to see that kind of love here on Shine. May you have at least another 28 years together and then some! I hope one day when I am "old", I too will find someone with the same kind of heart. Many blessings to you both.

  debbie i know the feeling of loving your husband the way that you do i have a fiance that i have been with for twelve years on the 25th we have had many ups and downs also but you know there is really true love when all you have been through you are still togeher so hold on tight girl and don't let god god bless the both of you

  To The Both of You...keep showing others what REAL love is all about! You do such a good job! There are mountain top expereinces but oh so many more valleys and you two know how to do both...that's what love is, and what love does. Here is a scripture that I really think should be part of the wedding ceremony."Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor.   Good morning Deb,

  Wonderful post. You and Ron sound much like me and Mike. This however is our 2nd marriage for both. I spent 22 yrs. with the wrong guy and he spent 17 with the wrong woman. We weren't even looking when we found each other. But, there are no "if onlys" here. We know that what we went through made us the people we are today and we moved on from that premise. We have been together almost 15 yrs. now and it still is a fresh as the first date. Enjoy each other, cherish each other. Some words I live by are -

  Respect each others strength; accept each others weaknesses.

  Mike and I say we are each "wonder half full" and together we are "wonderfull." So glad we became Shine friends. Both you and Ron have brought much joy to me through our postings.

  I will be taking it easy for a while. Need wrist surgery on 6/10 and my wrists are really hurting. Need to cut back on hand activity. I know I am in trouble when even holding the paint brush is hurting me now. Feel free to drop me a line at my site "Under Construction" as I will check in from time to time and answer back as well as browse and read posts. Peace to you and Ron.....
