I Want

I Want

I want someone to love and for him
to feel the same toward me.
I want someone to treat me
the way I should be treated,
with love, respect and tenderness.

I want someone that can afford
to buy me nice things once in awhile.
I want to be able to buy a pair of shoes
or a loaf of bread without looking at the price.
I want someone to write me a beautiful love poem
or sing me a beautiful love song.

I want someone that will give me a valentine
or flowers or a piece of jewelry on Valentines day.
I have never in my life received flowers
from a man, to me that is so romantic.

I want someone that is not ashamed to show
his affection for me in front of others.
A hug, an arm around my waist, holding hands,
a quick kiss on the lips or cheek.

I could go on and on because I
have missed out on so much in life
and time is running out.
I want someone that will be with me
for the rest of my life.

When I am sick, I want
Someone to hold my hand
and whisper words of love
and care whether I live or die.

I have so much love in me to give
Show me love and get love in return.

    Ellen,

Somedays are lonely as all the days in the years.

People will come to you as you go to seek kind people.
