First, my name is Jessica and I'm fourteen. I love writing, and I currently have a book started that, when finished, I hope to publish. I write fanfiction and short stories, too. I have a bunch of ideas and not enough time to do them. If I had to choose only one word to describe me, it would be quirky. (Hence the title of my blog) But I'm also strange and unique, although my friends say that's the best thing about me.
I read a lot, and I have so many books in my favorites list. The top ones are The Twilight Saga, Gallagher Girls, the Gemma Doyle Trilogy, Harry Potter, Ophelia, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Wuthering Heoghts, Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice (which is the first time my name was used!), Great Expectations, and so many more.
I'm such a geek, and I'm the first to admit it. But my friends found this about me and it kinda stuck:
"I'm either the coolest nerd or the nerdiest cool person you'll ever meet." Which could be true, I guess. I'm not entirely geeky, and I have a life outside of my computer. Although technically, I have a pretty good one inside it, too.
I'm that totally random person who actually pronounce "lol" out loud when I'm reading. I don't say l-o-l, i combine the letters to make it a word. But I've done that forever. One of my favorite pastimes when I was younger was making up words. But, hey, it was fun!
I'm looking forward to blogging on here, but don't criticize if I don't get on enough. Life as an eighth grader is fun, but hectic!
