IRUNMAN

Feels like I did it all for nuthin,
but wanted to be somethin'.
I'm hurt for what it's worth,
I'm tired of workin' and runnin'
and runnin' to more work,
seems I'm workin' for more hurt.
It's like I'm diggin' a hole
and beggin' for more dirt.
Feels like I'm closer to GOD,
though I couldn't feel'um in church
steady trying to ask somethin',
but needed to breath first...
( Deep Breaths and a sigh )
Oh my LORD, Why I keep runnin'?
Oh GOD why must I work?
Well I know why I have to work,
tell me why do my bones hurt?...
( A Loud Silence and empty breeze )
I'm still waiting on his replies
and crying out to the skys
cause I'm still standin' in dirt
and it's bout' to cover my eyes...
now I'm runnin' fast as I can,
but couldn't out run the sand.
I ran, til I can't run with this bible in my hand...
( Deeper breaths, final breath and then I go under )
Suffacating tryin' to read for these reasons to believe
like I never knew there were reasons
and never knew they were me...
( I arise and take the deepest most wonderful breath)
Then ev'ry moment it took to breathe was a moment I felt free.
It don't matter where I may be. GOD is all around me.
I'm alive more than ever and ready to do better
cause death can't kill LOVE and that's why I'll live forever.
Though still standin' in dirt, I know how to make it work
now I'm molding it because holding it only made matters worse.
If this life is what you make it, why live it as if you hate it?
Try to find something you LOVE and then LOVE it enough to chase it.

Report AbuseWow!-the songs you used is perfect for the momentum you are creating in this well thought out post :) I'm still trying to figure out how your mind works- believe it or not, you actually exist where many of us has been trying to get to for a long time. You make it so easy to express yourself, while some of us is still confined to the limitations of our minds, that wont allow us to take a trip into unknown territory. I understand you so much even though our worlds are so far apart-- with all the being said- lets combine them and create a beautiful dream...
