Is Christie Brinkley the new Denise Richards?
editor
A judge has ruled that Christie Brinkley’s July 2 divorce trial to Peter Cook will remain open to the public, as she wished, because he believes "open courtrooms, in general and in divorce actions, may provide a basis for societal education." Despite the fact that a law guardian for the two children left some of the evidence revealed at the trial may harm them, Brinkley got her way and the kids—and all of America—can hear the gory details of their split. "Why would anyone be happy about that? It's putting herself in front of her children,” says Cook’s lawyer. But Brinkley’s lawyer countered, "The reality is he put himself way in front of his children and his wife when he made the awful decision to destroy the marriage. The trial will get at the truth, which is very important to Christie."
Didn’t anyone ever teach these ladies the phrase, “none of your beeswax?” Apparently Christie and Denise didn’t get the memo that divorces aren’t intended to make you famous. [

i think all divorces should be opened to the public, so people can get a taste of what happens before they decided to go off and stray

I am all for that. I am so tired of hearing about Denise Richards, she is asuch a ho! She loves the attention because she's not making any more movies and talking about her ex is all the attention she can get. Her show is so vulgar and it's not nice for a woman to talk about her sexual escapades in public.

So what should a 40-something has-been model or an actress do to support herself financially without a husband? Just lay low and live off alimony for the rest of her life? So what if she uses her divorce as a way to jump start her career? She's trying to take charge of her financial future now that she doesn't have a husband to rely on. You gotta milk it while you can, cuz show business is fickle. Get that reality show going if given a chance. As for the kids... Their mom's doing what she can to provide a comfortable life for them. They'd just have to get over it. Just like all of us have to carry our own baggages in life, they'll have to carry theirs too. That's life...

Brinkley is on the brink! Damn it!
This woman oozes appeal-ozark-
and arrives with all the due dignities.
Shes constructed consrticted and controlling-
a blizzard of cast and dazzle-
shapely swifted and sped up to the max-
an opecs' spec of plutonium rich goo-
she explodes haymaker and burst a bakers' burning-
robust and fetish she is the unblemished-
unmarked-undetered-medusa been turned.
A champion of nifty health-her hero knows no bounds-
her onlookers still gaze with gawk and envy
a prize fighters' prize-she moves this planet with one finger.
I liken her to another-one so incredible that-
my words fall like leaves of the tree-
I dont have these words.
Shes...too good for anything I could say.
I blame myself-for that shortcoming.
In short-We support you Christie.
And to my beloved-the one I that makes me ME-
I LOVE you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you. (Kisses)
I love you. (Snort!)
Bye.

"divorces aren’t intended to make you famous" don't you mean "infamous"? divorces are not the place to air dirty laundry for all to see. these women may have been scorned, but that is no reason to flaunt their marriages that way. they are not thinking about their kids, just getting even and being seen as victims. sigh. will smith said it,and i felt this way long before he put words to it: "when you divorce, you need to remember that YOU chose the person" at one time YOU needed them, were in love with them, etc, etc. your choice in a mate says as much (or more)about you as it does them.
