Is it okay for celebs to be single?

We know we're guilty of matchmaking for serial-dater Jennifer Aniston, but in reality, it is sort of irritating the way the press handles single celebs. Instead of being praised for their hard work and the projects they're involved with, they're shunned for getting dumped and being unlucky in love, or considered weird for (gasp!) enjoying being unattached.

At a press conference in Venice for his new movie, "Burn After Reading," reporters barraged Brad Pitt about his new twins. Next they turned to his buddy/co-star George Clooney and asked if he had any plans to settle down. "I am so surprised to hear that question. That is honestly the first time I've been asked that question," joked Clooney. "I am getting married and having children today."

In the real world, we know how hard it can be juggling work and relationships, and that sometimes you need to focus on your career to advance. Many celebrities (alleged home-wrecker Sienna Miller, maneater Kate Hudson, and sexually ambiguous Lindsay Lohan) could probably benefit from a little time off the dating field. Even Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan, says, "My daughter isn't working because she's always with Sam [Ronson]. Even my ex-wife knows it. She just isn' doing anything about it."

Stars around the world, we have some advice for you. Don't fret being single! Make like class acts Leonardo DiCaprio or Nicole Kidman and bring a relative as your red carpet date. Get your careers on track to where you want it to be. That sea full of famous fish will be waiting for you when you're done.

I personally I dont mind it at all. men get on my nerves sometimes, but they are fun at qthers.I know I will never marry again, they hold on to tight.I think everyone needs to breath every once and awhile.Men seem to lie alot and I dont care for liars.Im not dishing men, because I need them sometime, but not all the time, if you know what I mean.I probly could go on and on about being single, I just like it,no headaches.

I actually think it's better when celebrities are single. They have the freedom that their crazy schedule requires ....although I guess it could be pretty lonely. Better than cheating, though, at least in my book.
