Is Shine biased?

Never before, in the history of Shine, have I seen a subject create such prolonged heated discussion as the GOP vice presidential nomination of Sarah Palin!

While I've been fascinated with the intelligent and respectful levels of discussion taking place, I was taken aback to come across comments accusing Shine of being a biased site.  One Shine user commented, "I'm getting a little sick of SHINE'S narrow minded views on Palin. If you can't say anything nice......I guess we know how the SHINE writers feel about her."

For the record, the editors really try hard NOT to have a bias. It's true they are raising questions women have about Sarah Palin but they don't want users getting the wrong impression that these questions signal a favor, one way or another.

Remember, we have all differing opinions on Shine. We have posts written by Shine editors, partners from top women magazines, and users like you. We’re working to make it clearer who is writing the post, and I'll update you on when that's complete, but if you feel an opinion isn't covered we want you to blog about it! Because on Shine, we want to make sure all opinions are covered. So tell the community where you stand on the upcoming elections and help us keep this great conversation going!

I was one of those questioning Shine's bias.

Now I would ask if you will bring more men's issue's into the mix.

I am a man and blog with many other men on Shine.

I was hesitant to blog on Shine because it was aimed at women. Now I am glad I braved the water's,this site has a lot to offer.

    Thank's Brenda.

About shine biased on Sarah Palin: my reply is NO,notfrom my point of view. You and I can't stop the way others think or see Mrs.Palin. Sarah Palin step into the public eyes and she gave of certain body chemical to MR/mrs/mas/and miss public and all made their call as they see her. Good, inbetween, and bad! She will just have to accept how the public sees her.If she can't handle it then she must step back from whence she came. And stop trying to blame the press or shine..

    Brenda,

I would like to send you an e-mail. I don't know how to reach you. But I'm trying to write blogs in shine and i'm not able to even pop out in the chat updates. Is there something I'm doing that is not right?

    I will appreciate your help!

    Thanks Beautyshopperbeauty@ymail.com

    Have a Nice Evening!
