  This was such a great episode....FINALLY-Jacob!!!! Locke-OMG...I was so upset with what happenned to Juliet...I don't care for Kate so Juliet is my girl...just everything was spectacular..so I am thinking it is the whole theory of good vs evil...Jacob being "God"...the way he just came into all their lives and touched them (soooo Jesus like) I am just all over the place..Is Sayid dead? :( It sucks that we have to wait till 2010 and you are right it is even more sad that it's the final season...

  I ♥ Sayid. I was yelling at the TV last night, "You can not kill Sayid!" My hubby asked me why they could not kill him. I just love him. He is my favorite.

  I love him too!!! They cannot kill him...I told my brother (another lostie) they cannot kill him, I will just die lol...He is my favorite too...

  I am thinking is Jacob really dead!??? hmmmm since "Locke" pushed into the flames..and what is up with the Moses reference?

  But that was not Locke. That is Locke possessed or something like that. The man with Jacob on the beach at the beginning who said you know I want to kill you right. Jacob said he would have to find a loop hole.

  When "Locke" went to Jacob with Ben. Jacob said,"I see you found that loop hole"

  I can not believe they ended another season with Locke dead in a box.....

  so I found it what Richard said when he replied to Illana

  ("What lies in the shadow of the statue?") was in Latin, He said, "Ille qui nos omnis servabit." Translation: "He who will save us all."

  So what does that mean? Is that referring to Jacob? He is in the statue. The statue is gone. Where was the shadow? Am I being too literal?

  The loophole refers to Locke. He has shared a connection with the Monster since he arrived on the island, and his shape and/or identity was required to be the host for Jacob’s enemy.

  The loophole could also refer to the compass. Jacob’s enemy starts the chain of events by telling Richard to help Locke. With the time loop being orchestrated by the compass, it allows Jacob’s enemy to control Locke’s destiny and take control of him as the leader of the Others. Through this plan, he can manipulate Ben to kill Jacob.
