Jesus: REAL OR FAKE???

Ok... i know that the bible is consisting of a mostly factual basis, but the whole idea of Jesus Christ acctually being "THE SON OF GOD!!!!" is kinda stupid to me. Most of the stories in the bible are based on fact; things that actually happened, but why would God (the almighty one! the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything else) have a son which was a man? No offense to all of you mortals out there, but humans are low and kinda sinful and stuff, and Jesus was a man. Why would God make him a man? Ppl say Jesus was more then a man though, cuz he rose from the grave after his crucifixtion. but why? was he a human or not? i don't get the whole "Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost" thing. yeah, sure, i go to church and i call myself Christian cuz i believe in God, but i don't think Jesus was what people say he was (whatever that was). was he a regular dude with super-powers(to be blunt)? or was he some angel/ghost in the form of a man? i think that the events spoken of in the bible, most of them are probably real things that happened, but Jesus is my one major doubt. what was he? was he real or fake??? i just want an answer.

    well, I was brought up to believe in Jesus. He is a man because his mother was Mary, but since he's God's son, that makes him holy.

    Jesus is the Massia, the Son of God, he has performed miricals through the lord and has died for our sins, no man has ever done what he has, and no man shall ever. Jesus has gone through life without sin. He is the Son of God and the savior of mankind.

    Don't get me wrong, I am not here to create a fuss. See I am a muslim and no I am not trying to convert you to islam or convert any other person.

    In Islam we believe in jesus too. but our belief differs. We believe in his miracle birth, we believe he talked when he was in the cradle, we believe he made all those miracles by the help of god almighty, and we love him so dearly. In fact we say that we love Jesus more than Christian say that Jesus loves them. But we don't believe he is the son of god (as many Christian scholars do also) we believe he was sent as a prophet, a saver, and a worshiper.

    We also believe in the Bible, but we believe that the one we have now is not the Same Bible Jesus revealed. Look for a book called "Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why (Plus)" by Bart D. Ehrman, who is a Christian scholar by the way.

    I am not asking you to disbelief I am asking you to search.
