When it seems you can't count on anyone, know that you can
always count on God!!! He is there through the good and the bad,
the highs and the lows, the tears and the laughter. When the clouds
subside and the dust clears, he will always be there at your side.
He is the truest BFF!!! I have run into a few roadblocks with my
Mary Kay business, but I'm not letting them get me down.
I'm looking forward to building my business day by day. This
challenge of meeting my goal is actually a lot of fun as well.
I'm on a scavenger hunt to find directorship!!! Grrr!!!

At my teaching job, it is almost a crime to mention God. But in my business, Mary Kay's philosophy is "God first. Family second. Career third." Can't say that for most companies.

Last week, my pastor asked us why do bad things happen to good people? He wanted us to understand that all people, good or bad, go through trials and tribulations. During these times, God wants us to seek him for comfort, security, safety, triumph, etc. So many of us praise him when things are good, but fall short of thanking him when things are bad. It is very hard to do, but we must have faith and trust him all the time. Because while we're feeling bad about the situation, God is in the background waiting to provide a solution...if we only trust him. I know I'd rather put my trust in God, than in man. Because while man has let me down several times, God hasn't. Even when I wasn't aware of the blessing he bestowed upon me, he continued to bless me. Although I may not have thanked him for all my blessings, or been appreciative of them, he continues to bless me. And I am so grateful for that. He has brought from a long way. I look back on things in my life and know it was noone but the Lord who got me through. My pastor always says "Let go and let God" It is so much easier said than done. But if we try him, he will not let us down.
