“Kurt Cobain” buys mansion, cars, racks up credit cards

Kurt Cobain died over a decade ago, but his social security number has lived on amongst thieves who have used it to buy a $3.2 million mansion, two cars and get 188 credit cards. Not to mention stealing, oh, a measly $72.5 million from daughter France Bean’s trust fund. Our question is, when dealing with a high profile person like a rockstar from Nirvana, how does something like this go unnoticed? "I knew it had been going on since when I went cuckoo — bananas — in 2003,"  widow and former Hole frontwoman Courtney Love told The Sun. (FYI- In 2003 Courtney lost custody of Frances Bean, was arrested and overdosed on drugs.)  "It was fraud after fraud.. But nobody believed me until now. I did a check on my deceased husband’s Social Security number and he has a house in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He bought it last year. I would like to know how. He should probably get his a** back home if that is the case." Hey, at least she has a sense of humor about it! Courtney is working with the California police and forensic accountants to track down the crooks. Cobain’s estate earns a whopping $42 million annually, the majority of which is deposited into Frances Bean’s trust. [Page Six]
