Hi Folks!
I've entered a place that many of you may find strange. I
call it my Writing Cave. I really am taking this novel
writing seriously. My goal is to hit 50,000 words in the
month of November - yes, I am slightly crazy! I have to write
1500 words a day, which translates into about 3 and half
pages. It's not an impossible task for me, but it is a
challenge.
As a former English teacher, I have all of the mental tools to
accomplish this task. Unfortunately, as a stay-at-home mom, I
don't have a lot of time. I didn't really plan this
novel. I just started writing it. Also, I am spending
my son's nap time pecking away at it, so that may take away
from my Shine time.
But, in some ways, writing is like breathing for me.
That's how I ended up here on Shine. I NEEDED to
write. I am so glad that I have met all of you - you are an
encouragement and a blessing to me!
So, please leave me a message and prod me along in this writing
process!
OH, and if you haven't signed SUPER A's card, please go do
so! Leave her some love daily, so that she will get better
faster :)
