Let's get this party started
We're about three hours from our launch and let's just say things are a little hectic. Every host knows the pre-party hit-the-fan moment about two hours before the guests arrive and your hair is in a bandanna, you are wearing questionable pajamas, the "homemade" salsa is still in the jar and you have yet to stuff everything in the closet before the first cocktail-thirsty guest arrives. Well you'll be knocking on our door soon enough and even though everyone from editors to engineers has been working around the clock to go live at midnight tonight we still might not be perfect. I'm just hoping against hope that by the time you arrive all the little bugs get fixed, the photos are going where they are supposed to go (and not magically disappearing) and when you post your first blog here it does not end up in an alternate universe.
But who cares? you'll come to the party and it will be great. i just wish i could hand each and every
one of you a big fat cocktail and one of
my secret-recipe deviled eggs.
So welcome. First of all
meet the editors. Move around the site, mingle with some new folk, go look in our medicine cabinet, whatever you want.
Get comfortable and stay awhile.

'The "official" cougar boot camp' blog today By Erin Flaherty, Shine staff.. if this is ANY indication of what you're advocating at Yahoo.. then SHAME ON YOU. The FBI needs to investigate this site. Only open ONE day.. and this is being blogged by Yahoo staff??? FYI, the FBI prosecutes sexual predators to the fullest extent of the law.

Well this is kind of weird. Two days ago I found out that Yahoo had started Shine. The weird part is I have a Home Based business called "SHINE" Photography. And was also wondering how my photo & nickname that is shown here ended up on this site. Not that I have a problem with that, because I think it's cool along with this site. By the way could you use an editer in photography? Smiles!
My "SHINE" Photography business is based on...hmmm...maybe I'll save that for an introduction an this site...giggles!

I don' want to be the first to complain but.....I submitted a comment to one of your stories and then tried to see if it got posted. There were over 1400 comments and it only allows one page at a time. There is a "last" page to click on but it still only forwards one page. Can you fix it please. Thanks!
