So Carol is Ari's Auntie whom we live with. She is the best friend in the world with a heart of gold but everyone knows she's crabby as hell. She won't crack a smile even if she thinks something is funny and she usually has an opposite opinion than I do just for the hell of it. Anyway Ari has a bad cough and Kim suggested Manuka honey. Carol thought that was utterly ridiculous and said "can't you give her cough medicine like everyone else?" "Cough medicine is dangerous" I said. Carol rolled her eyes and walked away. Later I heard her talking to her wife Karen (Carol is gay in case you hadn't guessed) and she was saying "Poor Ari is coughing and Gina won't give her cough medicine." I stopped eavesdropping and marched into their bedroom and said "everyone knows that doctors don't even want to prescribe cough medicines anymore!" A few minutes Ari coughed so loud it shook the house . Auntie Karen bought some children's Tylenol for colds and her cough stopped but really I still stick with my opinion. Anybody out there have any feedback or experience to share?
