As per Maruti Suzuki India Managing Executive Officer at Engineering Mr. I V Rao said to reporters on the sidelines of fourth environmentally friendly vehicle conference, “We will be launching a new van by the end of this fiscal. Maruti Suzuki India is also looking forward to manufacture one million vehicles by the end of this year. I V Rao stated, “Hopefully, we will have one million units in production by the end of this financial year by utilizing our full capacity”. In addition, now the company is working on manufacturing all its models Bharat Stage-IV compliant as needed under the government norms and standards.
According to I V Rao, “We have not completed BS-IV compliance
norms on all our models but we are working towards that direction”.
