Medication Overcharging
In my work as a nurses aid, I was appalled at the overcharging I
saw on my patient's medicare reimbursements. One client I
had was prescribed umpteen high dollar medications which I feel she
didn't really need. She was even charged an exhorbitant
amount for tylonal. Because she was old vulnerable and rich,
they were charging her through the nose for her medications.
I thought this was criminal and I let it be known, but because
they had me in the "ex-con" group my protests seemed to
go on deaf ears.
