modernize a little girl's room

inspired by some amazing room transformations i have seen lately i thought i would try to find some "grown up" items that might work in a kids rooms. i think that kids rooms with a touch of modern, adult design could go a long way. for example check out these gorgeous lights by thomas paul. i can totally see these in a little girls room.

i think this floor lamp could work incredibly well in a modern nursery. matched with other grey and yellow design it could certainly modernize and brighten the room.

a few other ideas from the thomas paul collection are his rugs. they add a color pop to a room and would certainly fit in a kids room.
