MOTHER DAUGHTER STUDY

Support. Being there for each other through all, sharing joys & sorrows. Communication & support between womyn has moved civilizations, created entire economies. This study gets at the heart of why womyn need each other & need to respect each other.  Most mothers make many positive contributions to their daughter’s life, but are repaid by having their contributions ignored, dismissed, forgotten. Those daughters likely pass it on. The “ageless” struggle between mothers and daughters seems to allow some women to find each other disposable.

Instead of accepting the struggle as inevitable, squandering years in regret, we should be helping each other on this journey, being there.

This study is for womyn between 18 and 65.  If you wish to participate, please number and address three things:

1  Ages, marital status, education, profession, culture, religion

2  The positive contributions that you have made in your daughters's/mother's life, how are they ignored?

3  What actions did/do you take WITH your mother/daughter to share with her?
